My recent editorial with Tory Burch for L’Officiel Middle East September Issue took place at the lovely Rixos Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah. We chose to shoot indoors as it suited the Fall Collection with lots of dark wood and abstract paintings that complimented the textures of the clothing. Sometimes we as photographers fall into the trap of focusing on lovely locations than the actual clothes which should be the focal point. Prints, Dragon flies and rich textures make up the Tory Burch 13/ Fall Collection. We also had our lovely client Joyce with us on set and what a lady she is, calm, collected and poised!
The lovely team consisted of Natalie Trevis (styling), Ieva Nemaciauskaite (hair/makeup), lovely model Eva from Bareface, and Evelyn my assistant. We were also joined by Claire who contacted me who wanted to assist for the day.

Here is some extra shots taken from the shoot.
Lighting consisted of a Profoto 7B kit, two heads, beauty dish with grids and my trusted Nikon SB 900’s flashes for the small pops of light!
We got a lovely email from Joyce thanking us for a job well done!
” I want to thank you and your team for putting together the Tory Burch shoot.
Everyone was getting along and understood the essence of Tory Burch which made it possible for us to create 10 successful looks.
I would like to extend a special thank you to the very incredible Belinda Muller whose professionalism and efficiency made it such a pleasure to work with her – not to mention her great spirit and subtle humor that made the long day pass so quickly. Thank you Billy!
And thank you to Natalie for her elegant, out of the box styling.”
I feel humbled and honored to be able to get positive feedback from my clients as this is always a team effort!
Thanks to a great team who worked on this shoot!
